THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
A few fun facts about me:
– I’m a small town girl and always will be at heart. (I grew up in a small town in Nevada with the population of around 5000 people.)
– I have a weakness for buying books with a pretty cover…but also to read because I love reading.
– My favorite design shows are The Established Home and Unsellable House.
– I refreshed a 5th wheel trailer pretty much single handedly and my husband and I and our 2 girls lived in it for 6 months. It was one of the best/and stressful six months we’ve had!
– Even though I majored in Family Studies in college, I took a couple interior design class along with furniture and art history. Years later my mind hasn’t turned away from the love of design!
Hey there, I´m Hanna Caldwell
I’m a recently established Oregonian in the Portland area and have fallen in love with the PNW and all the beauties this area has to offer! Ever since I can remember I was obsessed with interior design. I would scour those big, home catalogs as a child and rip out all the things I loved for my “dream” home. I also love solving problems and the day I realized interior design and solving problems went hand in hand my fate was sealed! Because of this, I believe design in the home is SO much more than painting walls and added some new pieces of furniture. It’s a living process that grows as we grow and as our lives change. You can have the most beautifully designed room, but if it doesn’t meet the needs of the people using it then it’s hard to love where you dwell. I can’t tell you how excited I get designing a space that is not only beautiful but one I can solve how to make it uniquely functional at the same time for those using it. Just as design and solving those pain points are my passion, helping people love where they dwell is also a growing passion of mine!
